OBY NWABUZOR is a business brain met with a heart of service and is a proud millennial native of the City of Milwaukee. She serves as the Director of Multicultural Initiatives, for the American Heart Association, to build health equity and address social determinants within minority communities. She also serves on the leadership team for ALIVE Inc., Milwaukee as the Community Liaison supporting strategic operational needs - building and maintaining key relationships.


Previously, Oby was responsible for Resource Development's Special Projects for United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County, working to implement effective strategies to engage and broaden the base of giving. She also has worked with Argosy Foundation to conduct research on renewable energy, environmental justice, recidivism, investments and assisted in funding non-profit organizations around the country.


As an advocate for Milwaukee's youth she serves as a Board Member of The Friendship House of Milwaukee, a Mentor for ALIVE Inc., Milwaukee, and through PAVE's Board Corps. Additionally, she is a Committee Chair for ONE MKE and member of TEMPO Milwaukee Emerging Women Leaders. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Business Administration in Business Strategy from Cardinal Stritch University.


She has conducted presentations on self-branding with one of the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Pipeline Programs; Apprenticeship in Medicine (AIM). This inspired her to launch her own company. Envision Self LLC is a brand development and community B2B consulting company, which aims to polish individuals and entities to be represented more professionally and efficiently. She lives by the fact that you aren’t serving your true purpose unless you are serving purpose to others.
